Fieldmans Access Floors Ltd. are proud to incorporate an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) as part of our risk management strategy to address changing legislation and protect our workforce.
An OHSMS promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows Fieldmans to consistently identify and control our health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems. It was developed by a selection of leading trade bodies, international standards and certification bodies to address a gap where no third-party certifiable international standard exists.

Promoting Health and Safety to Fieldmans Staff
Fieldmans run a Health & Safety initiative which rewards operatives who are vigilant on site and / or constantly wear their personal protective equipment i.e. helmets, goggles, gloves, safety boots, ear protectors etc.
We operate a red, yellow and green card scheme.
Red is expulsion from site for a major offensive to do with H&S i.e. not wearing hard hat after being warned previously.
Yellow is a warning card - do it again and you will be removed from the site.
Green is a reward card for competent H&S on site.
The company puts £100 in the hat each month and the top two H&S conscious operatives are reward with the money.
In addition to this award, Fieldmans also operates a cash incentive for outstanding H&S. Up to £500 is awarded if an operative has excelled in H&S.
