Access Floor in Server Rooms

Generally server rooms and communications rooms contain sophisticated IT equipment where a large amounts of data cabling and services converge and require frequent access. Access floor provides the flexibility to house these cables and also gives you freedom to access the void regularly. Modern server rooms require a large number of underground services for example water detection, air condition and circulation.

Due to the sensitive equipment found in these environments, anti-static access flooring is recommended this helps to prevent the accumulation of static electricity, which can damage the equipment.

For uses like these a panel with a bonded integral finish is recommended, this is normally vinyl or carpet. Bonded panels are more suited to constant lifting. A panel with a bonded finish makes access to the void significantly quicker and easier, this is as you are not required to remove carpet tiles before gaining access to the panel itself.
