Access Floor in the Workplace
The design of modern buildings requires extremely flexible solutions that meet both architectural and functional requirements. Today, a modular raised floor is a normal part of the fit-out in modern offices and public administration buildings.

A raised floor consists of two main parts, the substructure, consisting of pedestals of different lengths, designs and loading capacities, or of pedestals in combination with stringers. Raised floor carrier panels consist of various materials and floor coverings in a grid of 600 x 600 mm (although custom sizes are available on request).
The basic element of the access floor construction is panels mounted on height-adjustable supports that make it possible to hide all the engineering and technical lines and the defects of the main floor. In addition, the panels can carry heavy loads and provide an easy access to the flush-mounted equipment.
Customisable Access Floor Panels
The access floor panels differ in material, thickness, and inner and surface coating types. A wide range of combinations makes it possible to use the access floors in a wide variety of facilities depending on the current load, fire safety requirements, frictional electricity absorption or, alternately, on the requirements of the antistatic properties.
The standard panel dimensions are 600 x 600 mm. Covering of 1 m2 will require 2.78 panels. Custom-made panels of nonstandard sizes are also available.
Upon request, the coating of the access floors may be linoleum, PVC, laminate, parquet or carpeting for offices, bars or cafes; or anti-static vinyl coated for technical facilities, electrical centres, or telephone offices. The type of the coating is determined according to the design of the facility and its purpose. Thus, for computer halls, wiring closets and laboratories, vinyl coating with good conductivity is used. For offices, carpeting may be used. More expensive and wear-resistant coatings are ceramic tiles, marble, granite, wood.
