Access Flooring with vinyl panels

Vinyl panels are a popular finish for access flooring, and should be carefully maintained. The vinyl covering is likely to be bonded to the access flooring panels, and contain static control properties. The static controlling properties can be damaged by polishes, sealing compounds and harsh products. The vinyl surface should not become dirty or stained, but if this arises any form of liquid should not be used to clean the access flooring covering, because the surface is not water tight.

Caring for your vinyl panels

All dirt and debris should therefore be removed with a soft broom, and a mop and bucket method should not be used. If water is used to clean the surface, there is a danger of it leaking through the panel onto the electrical cables below.
