Butech Access Flooring Components

Butech Raised Access Flooring systems provide quick, flexible access to all wiring, cabling and piping, offering the aesthetic advantage of a cable-free uncluttered environment.

Butech access flooring is comprised of three key components; pedestals, stringers and panels.
The pedestals are made from galvanised steel and can be adjusted to the required height. These are important as they support the access flooring system.

Fitted into the pedestal heads to form a grid, are the stringers. These too are comprised of galvanised steel and are available in a choice of grades to suit the application.

To prevent the tiles from slipping on the stringers, a sound proofing plastic protector is placed on each stringer.

Finally, the panels which are made from either calcium sulphate or high-density particle board are fitted on top, ready for the finishing tiles. These panels have a STON-KER upper facing to give the floor a high quality finish.
