Environmentally Friendly Tate Access Flooring

The manufacturing process of Tate Access Flooring incorporates many initiatives to lower the environmental impacts. These include significantly lowering the amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) produced in the production process to almost zero. VOCs contribute to global warming, as the main component of the compound is methane gas. The VOCs are used in the paint production line of the manufacturing process. Another element of the manufacturing process that has been introduced to lower environmental impacts is a system through which 100% of grey water used in the panel cement auto-fill line is recycled.

Why Tate Access Flooring?

Over the last couple of years, Tate have made large investments into purchasing much more environmentally efficient machinery for the production of their access flooring. They have also started to use a fully automated manufacturing process in order to reduce energy usage and significant environmental impact.
