Raised Floor Systems
A raised floor system creates a second surface above the original floor, creating a hollow area in between. In this area, connectors such as power cords, telephone lines, data cables and air ducts can be run while remaining invisible to the naked eye. In some cases, they can even house water pipes and heating.

Raised floor systems are eminently functional. They allow for easy maintenance and reconfiguration by pinpointing the area needed for attention; any necessary repairs can by made by raising a panel, rather than having to lift up an entire floor. Raised floor systems do not alter the structure of a building and can typically be installed without special permits or permissions.
Multiple Uses of Raised Floor Systems
Raised floor systems can reduce a company or building owner's costs significantly. Through the use of the negative space, lines can quickly and efficiently be routed to particular desks or workstations. Should a space be reconfigured, the wires and cables below can be re-routed to a new location without disruption.
