Raised Tile Floors
Raised tile floors are what allow easy access to the subfloor in any access flooring scheme. By using a system of interlocking tiles, only a small section of the floor needs to be opened for repairs or reconfiguration. Once the job is done, raised tile floors easily settle back into place. With standard flooring, the entire floor, or at least a large section, would need to be pulled up and then replaced.

Raised tile floors are built to withstand the full weight and traffic of a concrete or wood floor. Further considerations, of course, are that the tiles themselves be comfortable and have good acoustics. Tile floors must also be fire-resistant and environmentally friendly.
Types of Raised Tile Floors
There are several types of raised tile floors on the market for customers to choose from. Fieldman Access Floors Ltd, a leader in the design and installation of access floors, will always discuss all options with its customers. Of particular quality are the Tecnika line of raised floor tiles from Italy as well as American-made Tate floor tiles.
Finally, since raised floor tiles are the only visible part of an access flooring system, aesthetic considerations must be taken into account. Here, too, Fieldman Access Floors Ltd can help consult on the right look for a customer's office. Fieldmans prides itself not only on its superior materials, but also on their craftsmanship and customer service.
