Tate Access Flooring

Raised floors have significantly altered the way office space is managed and used. By creating an empty space between the original floor and the newly installed raised floors, cables, wires and air ducts can be safely tucked underfoot. If repairs or reconfigurations are needed, the utilities can easily be reached by raising just a panel, not the whole floor. Naturally, several manufacturers have risen to meet the needs of a growing market. But not all are the same.

Tate Access Flooring

Tate access floors are known as the industry leader in access flooring. Combining high durability and a design range to fit any taste, Tate access floors have been improving the functionality and aesthetics of offices the world over. Access floors make it possible to hide unsightly ducts and wires below the floors surface, while maintaining an easy way to get to them should the need arise.

The manufacturing process of Tate Access Flooring incorporates many initiatives to lower the environmental impacts. These include significantly lowering the amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) produced in the production process to almost zero. VOCs contribute to global warming, as the main component of the compound is methane gas. The VOCs are used in the paint production line of the manufacturing process. Another element of the manufacturing process that has been introduced to lower environmental impacts is a system through which 100% of grey water used in the panel cement auto-fill line is recycled.
